It would have a parallel triode Voltage Amplifer stage and separate driver (apart from the reverb) similar to the attached schematic (but with 2 x 6V6GT in parallel)

With the 6V6 you could also look for schematics designed for the EL48. With all due respect it doesn't make any sense to use a high mu tube like the 12AT7 or 12AX7 when you only need a voltage gain of about 25. There are many better sounding tubes to use.

a class A single ended amp needs a well filtered supply, but not necessarily a low impedance supply. AB stuff really needs low impedance for optimal performance, but it doesn't necessarily have to be wonderfully filtered at the output stage. I have watched what a lousy power supply looks like when trying to run full output power at 30hz.
